Pontona has a history dating back to 1918 when the first concrete pontoon was cast at the Brandholmen shipyard in Nyköping, Sweden. In 2005, SF Marina acquired Pontona to create the largest concrete marina pontoon manufacturer in Sweden. Pontona’s floating breakwaters and concrete pontoons are now produced at the SF Marina plant in Wallhamn, Sweden.
