Bermuda’s pink sand beaches and crystal clear, turquoise waters are popular with tourists and Bermudians alike. Just 600 nautical miles from the US East Coast, the Bermuda archipelago is a popular offshore destination for East Coast sailors, but also a convenient stopping or starting point for boats sailing across the Atlantic between the Americas and Europe. Yes – Bermuda is the home of Bermuda shorts, but its most important contribution to the world is probably the Bermuda rig, which today dominates the sailing world.
SF Marina’s first installation in Bermuda was the full-service Hamilton Princess Marina, opened in 2014. The marina offers 60 berths for vessels of 30 feet to superyachts of 500 feet or more. SF Marina’s floating breakwaters and concrete pontoons are marketed in Bermuda by SF Marina Systems USA. The company has a pontoon production facility in Gloucester, Virginia.
