Coastal Design & Construction was founded back in 1978 and specialises in stone structure work such as breakwaters, jetties, and shoreline revetments. As a complement to its stone structure business, the company partnered with SF Marina in 2000 to deliver floating breakwaters and concrete pontoons. This took place in the form of a joint venture – SF Marina Systems USA (SF USA). The company has a pontoon production facility in Gloucester, Virginia.
