DUBAI FESTIVAL CITY FERRY STATION

SF Marina UAE designed and fabricated the base pontoon for the Dubai Festival City Ferry Station. The main pontoon was cast as a single pontoon 15m x 10m in plan, with a height of 1.8m. The main pontoon also included both potable tanks and sewage tanks cast into the concrete structure of the pontoon. As well as live loads, the pontoon provided a stable foundation for the 31 tonnes of structure and the associated wind loads.
