Pontona Båthavner AS was founded in 1981. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of SF Marina in 2007 and the name was changed to SF Pontona Norge AS. The company’s sales office is in Fredrikstad, about 20 kilometres north of the Swedish border. Pontona’s floating breakwaters and concrete pontoons are produced at the SF Marina plant in Wallhamn, Sweden.
