Customized floating docks and breakwaters

SF Marina brings unmatched expertise to marina construction, carefully piecing together every detail from concept to functional water spaces. Our marina systems are designed to endure the elements with minimal impact on marine ecosystems. From floating docks and breakwaters to naval berths and ferry docks, SF Marina delivers durable, tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of each site.

1. Floating breakwaters: Our floating breakwaters, up to ten metres wide, protect marinas from waves and storm surges with minimal visual impact.

2. Concrete pontoons: SF Marina offers a wide range of pontoons with customisable lengths, widths, and angles. The pontoons feature a maximum freeboard height of one metre.

3. Patented connectors: Our coupling system allows for assembling breakwaters and pontoons into unlimited lengths without compromising structural integrity.

4. Anchor selection: Various anchoring options are possible, including steel piles with internal or external guides, stiff arms, chains, elastic rods, and embedded anchors.

5. Tailored options: Pontoons can be equipped with fingers, lighting pedestals and bollards, with services like electricity and water hidden in ducts.

6. Absolutely unsinkable: Our floating docks and breakwaters are unsinkable, offer high bearing capacity, and maintain a constant freeboard height.

7. Highly flexible: Floating docks can be easily reconfigured into new layouts and are suitable for water depths up to 50 metres.

Marina systems

SF Marina’s concrete floating docks and breakwaters exemplify fine Scandinavian design, with clean lines and functional forms. Engineered with a robust concrete structure, closed-cell foam core, and protected steel reinforcements, these structures offer exceptional stability and durability. Ideal for hosting everything from small recreational boats to superyachts, they define what a premium marina should be.

Concrete floating docks

SF Marina offers a versatile range of concrete floating docks designed for durability and customisation. These pontoons are available in widths ranging from 2.4 to 10 metres, with a freeboard of 50 to 100 centimetres. We can tailor lengths, widths, and angles to meet specific requirements, with utility ducts customisable for any need, large or small.

Breakwater
Docks

SF Marina’s floating breakwaters, measuring up to ten metres wide and 3.6 metres high, offer superior protection against waves and storm surges, with minimal environmental impact. Setting them apart from standard pontoons, the increased depth, mass, reinforcement strength, advanced connectors, and robust anchoring of these breakwaters allow them to efficiently absorb wave energy.

Superdocks TM

Designed for superyachts, SF Marina’s Superdocks combine the strength of floating breakwaters with the stability of concrete pontoons. With increased width, higher freeboard, and reinforced components, they provide robust support for the largest vessels.

Special Docks

Our specialised structures include ferry landings, floating piers, fuelling stations, helicopter pads, and floating foundations for homes, restaurants, offices, and hotels. Designed to have minimal environmental impact, they offer scalability and relocation options.

Heavy Docks

SF Marina’s heavy-duty industrial pontoons are built to endure severe environmental forces, including vessel impacts, high winds, waves and harsh winter ice. Ideal for large vessels, they accommodate tenders, tugs, fishing vessels, and ferries.
