For yachtsmen, Turkey offers more than 500 islands and over 7,000 km of coastline, with several modern marinas between Istanbul and Antalya. SF Marina’s first installation in the country – Attaköy Marina – was opened in 1989. The marina, with a berthing capacity of 700 boats, is in Bakırköy district on the European side of Istanbul, about 5 km from the city centre. The most popular destination for yachts to sail, however, is the staggeringly beautiful coast between Bodrum and Antalya, known popularly as the Turkish Riviera or Turquoise Coast. Bodrum is the hometown of not only the most awarded marina in Turkey, Yalıkavak Marina, built by SF Marina in 2012, but also SF Marina Turkey’s sales office.
