Egypt has a unique geographical location, with some 2,400 km of coastline on the Mediterranean and Red Sea, and it is home to a sizeable yachting community. Currently, Egypt has around 25 marinas of various sizes, including SF Marina’s first installation in the country, the Naama Bay Jetty in Sharm El Sheikh, built in 1997 for the Sinai Hotel and Diving Club. This was followed by several other marina installations, most notably Galala Marina, with 240 berths, close to some of the world’s prime diving sites in the Red Sea. SF Marina has also installed several ferry-landing docks, giving passengers easy access to ferries and water taxis running on the Nile. A smart way to avoid crowded streets.
