MARSA AL BATEEN MARINA

Marsa Al Bateen Marina is located in the Bateen area of Abu Dhabi. The marina was developed in 2 phases with both phases using SF Marina all concrete pontoons. The first phase, handed over in 2010 comprised of 323 berths for boats of between 8-15m length. A floating fuel station was added in 2013. The second phase handed over in 2016 added an additional 60 berths for larger boats between 20 and 50m length, as well as a temporary dock for launching and recovering boats from the dry stack which also formed part of the development. Both parts of the marina were delivered by the SF Marina UAE team on a turnkey basis and included all accessories, utility pedestals, electrical cabling and distribution boards, potable water system, sewage pump out, firefighting pumps and foam mixing hose cabinets.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

  • SF Type 1230 and 1240 used as 3m and 4m wide walkway pontoons

  • All concrete finger pontoons for 8m to 25m boats.
  • Phase 1 (West) : 323 berths for 8 to 15m boats.
  • Phase 2 (East) : 60 berths for 20m to 50m boats.
  • Turnkey installation complete with aluminium gangways, Tallykey Pedestals, Sewage Pump Out, Foam Mixing Fire Fighting Cabinets and all MEP.
